About Us:

WeCare International Foundation (WIFZ) is a dynamic non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Zimbabwe. Founded in Canada in 2012 and registered as a Trust in Zimbabwe in 2020, WeCare Foundation has been a beacon of hope, offering support to over 1,000 children, adults, and families across the country.

Our dual mission focuses on:

1. Advancing charitable objectives that promote the welfare of vulnerable populations.
2. Providing dedicated support to children in need of care and individuals living with disabilities.

Through a variety of impactful programs, WeCare Foundation strives to create long-lasting change. These programs include educational assistance, psychosocial support (PSS), livelihood initiatives, and income-generating activities (IGAs).

Our Mission:

WeCare International Foundation is committed to building capacity and empowering communities in Zimbabwe. By collaborating with local and international universities, particularly Social Work departments, teacher training colleges, churches, and theological colleges, we foster a network of volunteers and resource persons who work together to support those in need.

Our focus areas are:

• Education: Providing quality educational opportunities for children, orphans, and disadvantaged youth.
• Primary Healthcare: Addressing basic healthcare needs to improve overall well-being.
• Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (PSS): Offering emotional and mental health care to individuals, especially children and those facing difficult circumstances.
• Economic Empowerment: Promoting livelihood initiatives and income-generating activities to support families in need.

In addition to our work in Zimbabwe, WeCare Foundation also engages with diaspora communities, encouraging individuals abroad to contribute to the development efforts and make a tangible impact in the lives of those back home.
